As one of the sports presented at the Olympic Games, swimming has grown into one of the most challenging, exciting and popular sports at the North-West University (NWU).
In addition to mastering skills and achieving physical fitness, NWU Swimming aims to help swimmers develop self-confidence, sportsmanship, discipline, dedication and the knowledge that success is the result of hard work and goal setting. We try to make swimming at the NWU an important and enjoyable part of every swimmer’s life.
NWU Swimming competes in regional, provincial, interprovincial and national championships. Our NWU swimming team is in the top three university teams in the country.
