As one of the Olympic Games sports, swimming has grown into one of the most challenging, exciting and popular sports at NWU.

In addition to mastering skills and achieving physical fitness, NWU Swimming aims to help swimmers develop self-confidence, sportsmanship, discipline, dedication and the knowledge that success is the result of hard work and goal setting. We try to make swimming at the nWU an important and enjoyable part of each swimmers' life.

NWU Swimming competes in regional, provincial, inter provincial and national championships. Our NWU swimming team is in the top 3 universities in the country.
